Kaori Nishi

Planetarium narrator and educator.

As a child, she spent countless hours at planetariums and developed something close to a love for our planet Earth. Today, she works at a planetarium in Tokyo, continuing to share the stars with the hope that moments spent looking up together can nurture a quiet sense of peace.

In addition to presenting constellations and producing planetarium programs, she continues to organize special programs about Ukraine together with planetarium educator Olena Zemliachenko.

She values both the beauty of natural science and the richness of the Japanese language, and each day she stands behind the microphone with gratitude and curiosity.

Though she occasionally makes amusing mistakes and sometimes drags those around her into unexpected adventures, she enjoys the wonders of life on Earth more than anyone else.
