I'm working at a planetarium in the Kanto region of Japan.
The night sky as described by Olena-san is filled with diverse stories rooted in Ukrainian history and culture, giving us a chance to learn about Ukraine and spark our interest in the country.
And while there may be differences in latitude, the night sky we gaze upon is the same, whether in Japan, Ukraine, or anywhere else in the world.
I believe that planetariums are places where we can truly feel that we are all gazing at the same starry sky, and where people from all over the world can be connected with each other.
I hope that through planetariums, a circle of sharing the wish for peace will spread, and that someday we’ll be able to tell children in Ukraine about the night sky in Japan… I pray that such a future will come true.
